Below is a description of some of the volunteer opportunities available at the CSC.  If you are interested in helping or have any questions, please reach out to us at [email protected]

For the 2020 season, we are looking for a Jr Kickers and a League Program Director.  Please see the attached for a description.

Team Volunteers consist of Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Parent Coordinators.  These are the volunteers that manage the team on a day-to-day basis.  Please review the descriptions below and if you are interested in volunteering, please complete the registration.  Completing the free registration adds you to our email list specifically for Team Volunteers and helps the league determine if we have enough volunteers for the number of players each season.

Head Coach (1 per team): Is the single point of contact from a league level.  This volunteer is ultimately responsible for the team as a whole. Your phone number and email address will be listed on the roster and you will be contacted in order to reschedule games, etc.  You will also be primarily responsible for attending pick night and general coaches meetings or sending a delegate for the team.  Other expectations include but are not limited to organizing practices and pregame warm up, serving as a base or dugout coach during games, responsible for team equipment.

Assistant Coach (up to 3 per team): Expectations include assisting during practices by running a station, etc, serving as a bench coach during games, assisting the Team Managers with his/her duties if applicable.

Parent Coordinator (at least 1 per team): Expectations include managing team participation in fundraisers.  Additional expectations may include assisting the Team Manager by communicating schedule changes and make up games, etc.

Volunteers are responsible for soliciting new and returning sponsors either in writing, via phone or in person, working with sponsors to obtain artwork, design specific packages or promotional events, tracking incoming sponsors and assign to teams.

Volunteers are responsible for maintaining web content including registrations, sponsor logos and calendar, and sending out newsletters to registered members.

Review referee candidates and serve as liaison between RIC and Board of Directors.  Resolve escalated issues, monitor scheduling and training, approve pay and suggest improvements to the program as a whole.

Volunteers will assign sponsors to teams as requested, obtain artwork and submit orders to the print vendor, distribute to teams and follow up on late registration orders.  Also responsible for working with the vendor to set up an online store for spirit wear orders.
